Reps and Runs Health Hub FAQs
What if my gym doesn’t have a specific equipment?
No problem. Jym – your personal fitness assistant is designed to offer alternative exercises. Just ask Jym to suggest an alternative exercise for the body part that you are wanting to hit and the exercise which you want to be replaced, and he’ll provide a suitable substitute. Don’t worry Jym is not your average AI bot – we’ve trained him to serve your specific needs and requirements.
What if I don’t have an item from my meal plan?
Simply head over to the chatbot and let it know the macros of the item that you are looking to replace for example 30 grams protein, 50 grams carbs, 10 grams fat.
It will suggest a replacement based on your preferences.
How do I handle questions about progress tracking?
You’ve been given an onboarding guide that explains everything you need to know about tracking your progress. Refer to that for detailed information.
What if I’m lacking motivation or feeling down?
Our community is filled with like-minded people ready to offer support and encouragement. You’re not alone – open a thread in the community and speak up. We will hear you, support you and pump you up.
Can I share my progress in the community?
Absolutely! Share your wins and progress in the community to motivate others and get some positive vibes in return. We might as well reward you for your amazing results.
Should I use a protein shake?
Food is always the first priority and protein shakes will only work if you are already eating well. That said, if your budget allows, then by all means go for it. Protein shakes can really help with meeting your daily protein needs.
If you want a recommendation, just reach out to chat support. We’ll ask a few questions and suggest a trusted brand – you need to ensure you buy it from an authentic source. You can use protein shakes post-workout or even include them in your breakfast if you are short on time.
Should I take creatine?
You can ask our chat support for personalised advice on creatine use, based on your fitness goals. If you are a beginner, we don’t recommend supplementing with creatine right from the start. If your diet is on point and protein intake is optimal, then you will see great results even without creatine.
What if I need additional supplement guidance?
You can ask our chat support for personalised advice on other supplementation such as multi vitamins, fish oils, pre workouts, etc.
What should I eat before a workout?
Aim to eat at least an hour or more before your session. Your pre-workout meal needs to be very low in fats and rich in carbs and moderate in protein. You can ask our chat bot for specific recommendations for a pre-workout meal.
Should I follow the same diet plan on non-workout days?
Yes, make sure your protein intake stays appropriate even on non-workout days. You can have less carbs if you don’t feel like having them on non-workout days.
How do I track my macros?
Use the tools in your onboarding guide to track your macros, or simply ask the chatbot for more help if needed.
How do I track my workout progress?
Keep a log of your workouts on a physical notepad or on your mobile. Weight lifted, sets performed, and reps should be tracked in each and every workout you do so that you aim to do better in the next one.
How do I execute referred exercises?
Refer to the detailed onboarding guide that explains how to perform each exercise correctly. Plus all exercises in the plan come with their videos so that you execute them perfectly.
